I understand and agree that Kentucky Realtors are not legally responsible for any misrepresentation or error made in providing this service®. By signing this Letter of Intent, I agree not to grant access to the hotline to any other person, whether a member of the association, a client or a client, except for my company representative, with my membership number. Vern Jarboe is familiar with KCRAR forms. As a partner at the law firm Sloan, he has been Legal Hotline`s attorney since KAR was founded in 1998. The hotline is used to provide information and education; It is not a substitute for legal counsel. As a member of Kentucky REALTORS, ® I agree that I have read and understood the statement regarding the purpose and operation of the Hot Line. I understand that the hotline is part of the Kentucky Realtors Risk Mitigation Program and is designed to keep the association informed of legal developments and concerns related to real estate brokerage and ® sales. I also understand that Vaughn & Smith has retained PLLC to provide me with a source of legal information, and Vaughn & Smith, PLLC will not act as counsel or that of my brokerage firm in answering my Hot Line questions. Missouri brokers and agents had access to a free legal help line through the Missouri REALTORS Association (MR), and now KCRAR members in Kansas have a similar service, the cost of which is covered as a benefit of® KCRAR members. Kansas brokers with legal questions now have access to a free legal help line. Previously, the Kansas Association of REALTORS (KAR) hotline was available to brokerage firms on an annual subscription basis, and now KCRAR pays the full cost of the Kansas Legal Hotline for KCRAR member firms affiliated with the Kansas Association of REACTORS.
®® The Kansas Legal Hotline is a program designed to provide quick access to Vern Jarboe, a legal expert in the field of real estate. Through the Legal Hotline subscription provided by KCRAR, REALTORS of Kansas Association of REALTORS (KAR) designated brokerage firms can make free, unlimited phone requests and receive conversation summaries®®. I also understand and agree that I cannot transmit or imply that information obtained through this service to third parties, such as clients, sellers® or real estate agents, may be construed as providing legal advice or in a manner construed as providing legal advice to Kentucky real estate agents. New member? Forgot your password? Not sure if you have a username? Although the majority of real estate transactions are completed without incident, it is possible that a problem or dispute may arise. As a first step, we recommend that you contact the other party and let them know if you have any questions or concerns about the real estate transaction. Open and constructive discussion often resolves issues or differences and renders other measures superfluous. Sometimes, however, there is a dispute that cannot be resolved through communication and negotiation.
Our portfolio builds on the benefits of your local and national association. KAR gives you a different perspective for a better end result. For more information about membership and becoming a RALTOR® appointment, contact your local council. I also agree that my access to the legal helpline will end when I am no longer a member of the association. We know that each broker and REALTOR® is looking for different benefits from their association of real estate® agents. Please select one of the following options so that we can provide you with the appropriate information that can help you resolve your dispute.
